Today we'll be taking a look at the Ultra-Fab Economy Landing Gear Set with Handle and a Connecting Rod. This set is going to get us a new set of landing gear for our fifth wheel trailer or our gooseneck trailer so we can support that front end of our trailer and get it nice and leveled out and feeling more secure. Basically, this jack is something you can either connect to your seven pole coming from your truck or to an onboard battery and really make the job of connecting and disconnecting from trucks much simpler.Smaller utility trailers, things like that, they're generally pretty easy to crank with by hand, but once you get a camper of this size, it can wear you out pretty quick, especially with a weight distribution set-up. With this set-up, you actually have to connect to the ball of your truck and lift that up a little bit to get it set properly. So, we're cranking on a lot of weight. Just a time saver here. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Forest River Salem travel trailer, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Lippert components ground control TT automatic trailer leveling system. Now, your ground control TT system is going to be the perfect solution for setup once you get to the campsite. Also, there's a nice option of the auto hitch feature. So once you hit Retract All, which we'll show you here in just a second, the coupler's going to go right back to where it was when you hit that auto level feature so you'll know that height's going to be appropriate.Basically, what this system does, we've got four landing pads that are going to come down that act as both the stabilizer and the leveler. So no longer do we have to back and forth trying to get up on leveling blocks to get everything situated that way. It's all going to be contained in one unit and really just going to hit one button or a couple series of buttons, and it's going to take care of it all for you. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Forest River Salem Hemisphere Lite, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Lippert Components' High Speed Power Stabilizer jack. For a direct replacement, part number is LC337199. For a new installation, we have a white switch kit, part number LC369774 and a black switch kit, part number LC298707.Now, by getting the camper stabilized, we're not going to have to worry about all that movement transferred all the way through. We've got the stabilizer here in the rear, there's also one up in the front. They're going to do a really good job so when people are walking around through the camper, if you're in the back, you're not going to feel it so much. Somebody gets up in the middle of the night to go outside, you're not going to feel that side to side and front to back movement.You can see by pushing on it, we get a little bit of side to side here on the back of the camper, but watch what happens when we retract it. more

It is sold separately, but it does work with that jack to raise and lower your trailer. Now this is going to be ideal for standard, agricultural, construction and industrial trailer applications. The drop leg, which is this portion down here that's connected to the fit plate, that does feature spring return. So that's where we'll automatically return when we pull out that plunger pin. Today, we're going to be taking a look at a Jack-In-A-Box camper slide-out support set. These stabilizer jacks are designed for camper slide outs. They can be used for other applications as well, but they are intended to be used for camper slide-outs. They're going to feature a nice, large view channel here at the top of the bracket. This is going to straddle the frame member for secure positioning. Also you'll notice that the handle does not stick out to the side, it's actually able to be folded down along the upright tube so the folding handle allows the jack to store in smaller compartments without taking up an excess or awkward space around it. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Atwood Drop Leg Stabilizer Jack. The stabilizing jack helps keep your trailer level and steady when loading and unloading. It's made from a very strong and durable steel construction. On the drop leg and the foot plate, it's gonna have a nice zinc finish, which is going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. The outer tube is the piece that welds on to your trailer so that's more of a raw steel finish. It has been sanded down so it's nice and smooth but that makes it easier to get it welded onto your trailer. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Atwood Stabilizer Jacks. Now, these stabilizing jacks help keep your trailer or pop-up camper level and steady. They're going to be great for loading and unloading cargo or for camping. They also feature a nice folded design, so what that means is inside here, there's a spring, and so right now, this would be in a usable position. When you're done with it, what you can do is you can pull the leg, rotate it into a stowed position which would be parallel with the frame of the trailer. Really nice design, gets it out of the way during travel, so that's just nice design. more

When you're ready to fold it up, it's going a spring loaded mechanism inside there and so this piece actually raises, so if this was mounted onto a trailer frame you'd pull down on this leg and then rotate that in that position. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Fulton drop leg stabilizer jack with mounting channel. This drop leg jack is great for quick load leveling and stabilizing. The outer tube, right here, actually gets welded to your trailer. Once you have that on there and you're ready to set up, all you have to do is pull the pin out, and that's going to allow you to drop the leg, or adjust to whatever setting you need. You'll notice it has multiple adjustment holes. The bottom hole is for the fully retracted position, stowed position, or travel position. Now, the drop leg, itself, has a zinc plating. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Fulton Drop-Leg Stabilizer Jack with Mounting Channel. The drop-leg jack is great for quick load leveling and stabilizing. Once this piece right here is welded to the trailer frame, all you have to do is pull out the included pin and clip and then you can lower that drop leg and get it adjusted to wherever you need it. Once you have it set, simply line up the holes, place in the pin and secure it with the clip. Really nice, easy to use design. The drop-leg is going to be made from a steel construction. more

Bulldog Camper Jack - Landing Gear - BD500162 Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear set. Now, this landing gear set is designed for use with your 5th wheel trailer or RV. It's going to feature these large, self-leveling footplates that provide excellent stability. Those are going to measure 8 inches long by 6 inches wide and they really help spread out the applied weight, especially on softer surfaces, to help prevent sinking. The self-leveling design means that it's able to tilt a little bit once it hits the ground. That's a really great feature of the unit. more
